Halloween is a time for young children that can be scary or exciting or both. So story telling is a great way to keep things in perspective!
This set of cards can be created at Halloween. See the printables section for a useful Halloween e- packet. Halloween images are exciting, but mostly imaginary so there are few rules. Of course, there is basic nescessary visual information. For example: a witch should have a pointy hat, but who knows what a scarey monster looks like? I've found that the creative kids really like monsters... no rules!
Halloween stories can be mysterious or familiar. They set the pattern for adventurous story telling. We usually began with trick or treating as a basic story line. Parents can go along (for safety) or a witch can invite a ghost to a party... lots of room.
